TUESDAY: The arctic cold returns from Tuesday through Thursday. Low temperatures dip down to the upper 20s for Tuesday morning, feeling like the teens with gusts picking up to 30 mph by daybreak.
MIDWEEK: The blustery conditions will continue through early Thursday with 25 to 35 mph gusts on-and-off, making it feel like the teens most of the time. Make sure to bring out the heavier-duty winter jackets for this frigid stretch.
INTO THE WEEKEND: Another brief break from the arctic cold will hit just in time for the weekend, with highs expected to be well into the 40s on Saturday, with some rain also possible. This will be the start of a complex weather pattern from Saturday through midweek next week. There could be as many as three storms to produce rain and/or snow. It is too soon for specifics, but what is known is that some rain is likely during the second half of Saturday. Any storm that could pass the area on Monday or Tuesday is likely cold enough to support snow. Will there be a storm? That won't be known until Wednesday at the earliest, more likely toward Thursday or Friday.
