ADDITIONAL SNOW
Snow is tapering off this morning and only minor additional snow is expected. It is ready to clean up at your earliest convenience.
WHEN DOES IT MELT?
The snow is heavy and icy. The snowpack will look like it's shrinking today, but it's compressing down due to the weight of the ice pellets that mixed with snowflakes overnight. This will make the snow hard to remove, especially when temperatures drop this evening, so it's best to clean the snow up at your earliest convenience.
Sunday will be well below freezing in the morning so continue to watch for slippery spots. Temperatures will climb to the mid 30s in the afternoon and upper 30s for the evening. A wintry mix starting around 7 p.m. will turn into all rain overnight Sunday and Monday morning. This will melt much of the snowpack.
Conditions will become icy when the rain from Monday freezes on Monday night.
