News 12 Storm Watch Team meteorologists are tracking wet weather that is expected to last through the morning - just in time for holiday traveling. News 12 will continue to monitor any changes in the forecast and its impacts on flights and roadways.
A COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY is in effect on Wednesday from 5AM to 11AM for the Bronx. A COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY is in effect on Wednesday from 1AM to 7AM for Brooklyn. 1/2 to 1 ft of inundation above ground level expected in the most vulnerable areas near the waterfront and shoreline.
Winds are expected to reach up to 25 mph.
NEXT: Improved conditions tomorrow after 9AM, when storm exits. Windy, dry & chilly into Thanksgiving and Black Friday.
Tonight: STORM WATCH - Periods of heavy rain and strong gusts. Lows near 46.
Impacts include localized flooding, flight delays and cancellations, and power outages across the Tri-State. Evening temps warm up due to southeast wind influence, temps at 8PM near 53. Overnight lows near 45.
Wednesday: STORM WATCH - AM rain and wind. Gradual clearing, falling temps, and windy. Highs near 58. Lows near 43.
Thursday (THANKSGIVING): Clouds to start, increasing sunshine, chilly and breezy. Highs near 50. Lows near 38. 
Friday (Black Friday): Mostly sunny, clouds build, chilly. Highs near 46. Lows near 37.
Saturday: Partly sunny, and even colder. Highs near 45. Lows near 35.
Sunday: Mostly sunny and chilly. Highs near 46. Lows near 36.
Monday: Sun and clouds, and chilly. Highs near 48. Lows near 38.
