A new photo has been released in the hopes to catch the suspect wanted for shooting a mother of two through the peephole of her apartment door on Nov. 24.

Police released a photo of the vehicle, a BMW 3 Series four-door sedan with black rims. Investigators believe the shooter sped away in that vehicle.

A private investigator says the victim, Wendy Martinez, may not have been the real target, and that the family had been getting death threats ever since the victim’s son was released on his own recognizance in relation to another murder that took place years ago. 

A reward of $2,500 is being offered for anyone who has information on the case.

A GoFundMe page continues to raise funds to bury Martinez in the Dominican Republic.
