Mayor: Son arrested in slayings of husband, wife in Englewood

A husband and wife were found slain in their Englewood home, and an official tells News 12 that authorities have arrested the couple's son.
Police were called to the family's home at 113 Lafayette Place Saturday morning after receiving a call from a concerned relative. There they found the bodies of Edward Boduch, 71, and his wife, Miroslawa Potocka, 72.
The couple had been fatally stabbed, according to the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office.
The suspect's identity has not been released at this time, but the mayor of Englewood tells News 12 that it is the couple's son.
Authorities had said earlier that the suspect drove to a nearby ShopRite on Nathaniel Place. A car that belonged to his deceased father was located in the parking lot.
At one point, the ShopRite was shut down and no one could come in or out as police investigated. No injuries were reported there.
Police say the suspect returned to the car Saturday evening, and was taken into custody.
