A bomb threat reported at P.S. 20 in the Bronx Friday morning led to an evacuation of staff and students but was later deemed noncredible.
The NYPD says students were evacuated to a nearby school as a precaution. Police canvassed the area for nearly two hours before deeming the threat noncredible.
Bronx Borough President Vanessa Gibson says all staff and students were able to return to their school building. Gibson thanked first responders and school staff for their swift response and evacuation procedures in place at the school.
