Summer programming has kicked off for seniors living in New York City Housing Authority buildings, and News 12’s cameras were rolling to catch some of the fun.
Seniors can take part in a variety of activities including bingo, free manicures, crochet and other games and fun activities.
The program is taking place all summer long. Residents at the Berry St. NYCHA Houses were able to join in on the fun, thanks to a renovation project that transformed a room to hold all of the fun and exciting events.
Organizers say that the rotation of activities changes every week.
