WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
Erin will continue to pull away, improving coastal conditions. However, waves continue to be larger than normal and rip current risk is still dangerously high at city beaches.
The weekend is going to be fabulous. Saturday brings near perfect outdoor weather with some residual breeziness with gusts in the 20-25 mph range.
Sunday will be breezy and beautiful as well but will feature more clouds. Rain timing continues to push later on Sunday.
Temperatures returned to August-appropriate for Friday and will continue in the lower 80s throughout the weekend and into early next week.
Another cool down is on the way into next week with highs back in the 70s.
Aside from Sunday night into Monday morning rain, the borough looks dry for the majority of next week.

SATURDAY: Beautiful, warm, dry, and sunny. Highs in the low 80s. Lows in the high 60s.
SUNDAY: Sun and clouds with afternoon or evening rain chances. Highs in the low 80s. Lows in the high 60s.
MONDAY: Morning rain chances. Highs in the low 80s. Lows in the low 60s.
NEXT WEEK: Trending dry as of Friday night. Highs in the high 70s and low 80s. Lows mainly in the lower 60s.
