4h agoMore than 225 SUNY Maritime cadets began a two-week training journey that will take them to Puerto Rico.
The cadets are taking the voyage on a new ship that is specifically designed to train them.
"Empire State 7," one of five new training ships across the country, is the first to begin work with this current trip.
