Nearly two dozen family members and friends of a slain cab driver attended a court hearing for the man accused in his slaying Tuesday.
They say they've attended every court date for Nicholas Sanchez since he was charged with killing Mamadou Barry in September.
Police have accused Sanchez of fatally shooting Barry in Belmont during a late-night cab ride and fleeing the scene.
Sanchez has pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder. His lawyer says police have arrested the wrong man in the case.
He is due back in court on Oct. 27, when a judge will likely set a trial date.
