A Bronx woman accused of killing a pregnant woman and removing the baby from her womb last month pleaded not guilty to charges including murder and manslaughter.
Ashleigh Wade, 22, is being held without bail.
Prosecutors say she stabbed her friend Angelikque Sutton to death inside her Wakefield home on Nov. 20. Wade then allegedly removed Sutton's unborn baby, and when police arrived, Wade claimed the baby was her own.
The baby was taken to the hospital and is doing OK.
