Sagamore Hill is a National Historic site, and was Teddy Roosevelt’s home before, during and after his presidency.
During his administration it became the “Summer White House.”
Take a tour through the first floor of the home. Learn the history and peek inside of the rooms, including the library.
The Victorian-styled house is still furnished as it was when the Roosevelts lived there.
You'll get a lesson in American and Long Island history inside the home and on the grounds.
You can also explore the 95 acres of pet-friendly trails that Roosevelt walked with his beloved dogs.
You'll need to book your tour in advance. They are available Wednesday through Sunday. The grounds are open every day from sunrise to sunset.
