Bronx residents came together Sunday to enjoy live music and tango at Van Cortlandt Park.

The afternoon’s music and dance performance was hosted by the Bronx Arts Ensemble, an organization that provides free concerts to encourage music appreciation around the borough.

"There are different concerts going on here in Van Cortlandt Park in the summer,” said visitor Armi Bowen. “And we monitor it and try to see and enjoy [the performances.]"

News 12 is told a similar performance will take place July 30 at Fordham University’s Keating Hall.
