Taxi drivers demand justice for driver killed in Queens robbery attempt

The New York State Federation of Taxi Drivers gathered to call for justice for a taxi driver killed in Queens on Saturday.
Kutin Gyimah, a 52-year-old taxi driver from the Bronx, was killed when passengers he was dropping off near Arverne Boulevard tried to rob him.
Police say he tried to chase the thieves down when one of the suspects hit him, causing him to fall to the ground and fatally hit his head.
The Federation of Taxi Drivers joined Gyimah’s wife and four children to pay respects and demand that justice be served to those responsible for the attack.
The New York State Federation of Taxi Drivers is offering a $15,000 reward for any information that may lead to an arrest.
