A Bronx teenager wants to see more Hispanics represented as wax statues at Madame Tussauds in Times Square, so he started a petition.
Ruben Germosen, 16, started the Change.org petition to encourage the museum to add musicians Prince Royce and Romeo Santos to its collection.
Germosen has been handing out fliers, spreading the word on social media and reaching out to Madame Tussauds because he feels that Hispanics need more recognition in the entertainment world.
"There's a lot of Hispanics out there in the world that are making millions and are very popular, and I feel that Latinos are Americans too," he says.
The wax museum says it is discussing the potential of a Prince Royce wax figure, but the process is very complex and costs about $200,000 per sculpture.
