Teen slashed in face during Bronx bus stop dispute; 16-year-old arrested

A teen was slashed and another was arrested during a violent incident Thursday at a Williamsbridge bus stop.

According to the NYPD, the incident happened Thursday around 4:40 p.m. near Williamsbridge Road and St. Raymond’s Avenue.

Investigators say an 18-year-old man got into a dispute with another person at a bus stop when the situation escalated. Police say a 16-year-old pulled out a knife and slashed the victim in the face.

The 18-year-old was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi in stable condition.

Police say a 16-year-old male was arrested later that day and charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
