A teenager was stabbed in a fight in the middle of Allerton Avenue Thursday morning.
The teen who was stabbed ran into a nearby bodega for help.
The bodega employee told News 12 he knows many of the teenagers involved in the fight because they are from the neighborhood.
The bodega employee said the fight happened around 9 :30 a.m. between Baker and Olinville avenues.
Surveillance video shows one of the teenagers running toward the bodega and asking the employee for a knife. The bodega employee said he declined but offered to hide him in the bathroom and secured the area with a mop and bucket.
Shortly after, the teenager who was stabbed came into the store bleeding. Video shows the wounded teenager's friend tie his arm with a T-shirt that the employee had given him.
The incident is reminiscent of Lesandro "Junior" Guzman-Feliz's stabbing death. There have been multiple times across the city since his death where bodega employees have stepped in to help.
News 12 was told multiple arrests were made and the stabbing victim is expected to be OK.
