A 14-year-old boy accused of stabbing a 16-year-old boy outside of a Bronx school has been arrested, police say.
Police say the 16-year-old was stabbed in the torso by the 14-year-old and taken to St. Barnabas Hospital.
Officials first sought a teenage girl in connection to the incident, however the 14-year-old boy was later arrested.
Police say both the victim and the suspect know each other, but it is unclear if they are students of the school.
The Department of Education says it is working closely with the NYPD in the investigation.
