Thursday was one of the hottest days of the year, but Friday broke up the humidity with scattered showers.
There was also a quick change in temperatures over the past 24 hours in the Bronx, with a drop from 90 degrees to 60 degrees.
Many Bronx residents were seen carrying their umbrellas and wearing rain boots, but many say they regret not planning ahead.
"I hope it doesn't get worse," said Hunts Point resident Ed Alvarez.
