The city issued a snow alert Monday a few days after record-warmth in December.
News 12 meteorologists say overnight lows in the mid-30s overnight should warm up into the morning, with strong gusts of wind and some periods of sleet.
Forecasts show highs in the upper-40s to low-50s Tuesday, with more clouds and likely rain.
The rain could continue into Wednesday with temperatures remaining in the same range.
