Tenants in a Fordham building gathered together Thursday to demand action from their landlord, saying their apartments are in need of repairs.
They say they are tired of shoddy fixes to repair jobs, including leaky pipes. Tenants are demanding a rent abatement and for licensed professionals to complete the repairs.
Since 2017, tenants at 2060 Grand Concourse say they have brought two civil actions in housing court against building owner David Kleiner. The group is scheduled to appear in housing court on Dec. 4.
Building management has not yet responded to News 12’s calls to comment.
