McDonald, who is best known for his role as Reggie in "Bad Boys 2," says the simple poster changed the course of his life forever.
At the age of 15, he landed the role but says becoming an actor was never on his radar, his dream was to become a basketball star. However, just a few days after he scored his role, he found out he was going to become a teen father.
Despite his challenges, he used becoming a teen dad as motivation to push forward in his acting career. Now, Reggie has grown in the "Bad Boys" franchise from a timid 15-year-old to a Marine. He became a husband to Martin Lawrence's daughter in the movie "Megan," and he even discusses a few things to look out for in the movie.
"Prepare to see Reggie do more than just stand at the door and be scared, Reggie has grown up a whole lot and he's going to take over so be prepared and for that and Part 5, too," he says.
"Bad Boys Ride or Die" will be hitting theaters on June 7. McDonald also tells fans this isn't the last you'll see him on the big screen.
