The Real Deal: The best time to get rid of debt on credit cards opened during the holidays

Did you decide to open a new store or bank credit card this holiday season to rack up points or added discounts?
More than a third of the U.S. incurred holiday debt this season taking out loans or using buy now pay later plans.
However, January may be the month to clean out your wallet and cut the cards.
