News 12 has learned an "unruly" person disrupted an EMS worker while out on the job in Soundview.

The FDNY says the worker had some kind of exchange with an emotionally distressed person while treating a patient. Two people are now in the hospital.

The president of the union representing EMS workers told News 12, “A crew was treating a patient when an unruly bystander interfered. Police came and controlled the scene. No injuries to our crew.”

Officials also say the person was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
