A tree crushed a car in Pelham Parkway on Saturday morning.
The "Friends Of Pelham Parkway" posted photos on Facebook of the tree that blocked the entire crosswalk at Parkway North and Cruger Avenue.
The group says in its post that it contacted their councilwoman's staff, who said the city's Parks Department stated that it will remove the tree "first thing" Sunday morning.
There were no injuries. It was not immediately clear what caused the tree to fall.
