(AP) - It's unclear whether retired military intelligence chief Michael Flynn has accepted President-elect Donald Trump's offer of national security adviser.
The Trump team confirmed the selection yesterday.
Flynn has made it clear that he takes issue with President Barack Obama's approach to global affairs and fighting the Islamic State group.
And Flynn has called for Washington to work more closely with Moscow, echoing similar statements from Trump.
