Seniors at the William Hodson Senior Center in Morrisania decided to celebrate Valentine’s Day a little early with a dance party.
The dance floor was packed and the seniors were joined by Bronx lawmakers and local leaders.
The event takes place every year and serves as a reminder to spread some love during February. City health data shows that around one in three adults across the city live alone, just like many members of the Morrisania center.
The William Hodson center is considered the first senior center in the entire country, and they host many events for their constituents throughout the year.
