Walmart now requires that employees wear masks; mandates vaccines for higher positions

The increase in COVID-19 cases has led Walmart to make some changes when it comes to its coronavirus policies for customers and employees.

The increase in COVID-19 cases has led Walmart to make some changes when it comes to its coronavirus policies for customers and employees.
In areas with substantial or high risk of COVID-19 transmission, customers are encouraged to wear masks inside the store. Workers are required to wear masks.

All of Walmart’s corporate staff members and regional managers also need to be fully vaccinated by Oct. 4. It’s not a requirement for store employees, but if they do get the vaccine, they'll get a $150 incentive.
