Presidents' Day is expected to be pleasant and sunny, but Tuesday is looking to be a washout in New York City.
Monday will see highs in the 50s.
News 12 meteorologists say that Tuesday will be cloudy with rain showers, starting off light in the morning before becoming steady for the afternoon and evening.
Highs will be in the mid-50s. Wind gusts can reach up to 40 mph during the evening.
Wednesday is expected to have highs in the mid-60s before temperatures drop back down to the upper-30s on Thursday.
PRESIDENTS' DAY: Plenty of sunshine and mild! Highs near 54. Lows near 42. Clouds increase
overnight.
TUESDAY- WEATHER TO WATCH: Cloudy with rain
showers. Some isolated light showers during the late-morning, steadier rain
during the afternoon and evening. Highs up to 56. Lows steady around 53. Winds
can gust up to 40 MPH during the evening.
WEDNESDAY: A lingering shower possible during the morning, then turning partly
cloudy and warm! Highs near 67. A dry cold front arrives at night and
lows plummet to 33.
THURSDAY: Partly to mostly cloudy. Any precipitation looks to hold off until
about midnight. As of now, it can start as frozen precipitation (snow or ice).

FRIDAY- WEATHER TO WATCH: Snow/ice changing to
ice/rain. Some accumulations possible before being washed away, but too early
to know specifics. Highs near 42. Lows down to 29.
NEXT WEEKEND: No warmth to be seen sadly, albeit plenty of sunshine! Breezy on
Saturday, calmer Sunday. Both days feature highs in the upper 30's and lows
around 30.
