A hidden gem in the Bronx has been importing Italian goods to the borough for the past 17 years.

Beatrice Ughi, owner of Gustiamo, says her warehouse is full of products that would be found in a market in Naples, Italy. Major staples include pasta from Tuscany or Naples, extra-virgin olive oil from throughout Italy and tomatoes.

Gustiamo is tucked back on West Farms Road in a building full of graffiti. Ughi says the location represents the flavor of the Bronx and reminds her of some of the places from which farmers come in Italy.

Ughi adds that the Bronx has become part of Gustiamo's identity after so many years in business.

Gustiamo's products are featured in Brooklyn restaurants Juliana's and Roman's.
