Worship and praise rang out throughout the Bronx Sunday for Easter services.
Among those packed for a full house Sunday was the COGA Cathedral in Tremont, where congregants celebrated the resurrection of Jesus.
Regular attendees say COGA has a sense of community and bring extravagant services for Easter.
"A church is always about chemistry because we try to please god as much as we can,” said a congregant. “Us coming together, it unites the community because we can lift up the burden of Jesus Christ."
One regular says he loves coming to church, even on non-holiday weekends.
"We should always come to church and praise the lord, I like coming here because it's my community and my family. But in reality every church is my family because we're all children of God,” says Bright Igbnigun.
