Worshippers were allowed to physically attend Mass today for the first time in months.
Catholic churches across the city were allowed to have parishioners back in their pews on Monday, but it marks the first Sunday that people are allowed to attend an in-person Mass since the coronavirus forced churches to close.
Seating at churches is limited to 25% capacity and no holy water is permitted.
Residents were still happy to be back in church.
"Actually I miss church," says Alyssa Foglietta. "I couldn't go on Easter. I usually go during Lent and I'm happy to finally get to return."
Funerals, weddings and baptisms are also allowed to take place.
Churches are also requiring everyone to social distance and wear a mask.
