The Yankees secured the win in Game 1 of the ALDS Friday night, but not before honoring two heroes who threw the ceremonial first pitch.

Last week, Antonyo Love and Jairo Torres rescued a 5-year-old girl from the subway tracks near the Kingsbridge Road Station in the Bronx after her father jumped onto the tracks with her in his arms.
Both Bronx residents received a standing ovation from the Yankees, who expressed gratitude for their bravery.
