A report of a bomb ended in a false alarm in Yonkers Tuesday evening.
Police say they got a call from someone using a distorted voice, claiming there was a bomb on Orchard Street not far from Myrtle Street.
When police got there, there were discrepancies between what was said on the call and what was actually at the address.
For example, the caller said the bomb was in a basement but there was no basement at the address.
Police say no bomb was found.
They say the incident could have been a fake threat called in or the caller could have been dealing with a mental health emergency.
