Police say a young mother was thrown to her death from the roof of a building on East 177th Street Wednesday evening.
The victim has been identified as 21-year-old Jacqueline Irrizzary, mother of a 14-month-old boy. Building Superintendent Juan Ortiz says he found Irrizzary after responding to a loud noise heard by his daughter.
"They threw her from the roof, she hit the fence?then she rebounded from the fence and fell next to my door," says Ortiz.
The superintendent says when he found the woman, she was topless and had slash wounds on her neck and chest.
Authorities are currently investigating the death and have not yet made any arrests. Ortiz says there is surveillance footage of two men entering the building with Irrizzary, but faces are not visible on the video.
