for a free day of fun and animals.
City Councilmember Rafael Salamanca Jr. sponsored the “Free
Family Day” to give Bronx residents the opportunity to enjoy the zoo.
His office partnered with Wildlife Conservation Society, where they spent $15,000
on special programing, and 500 tickets.
News 12’s Justine Miller was there to speak with families
enjoying the event.
