Police say they're searching for a man wanted in connection to a dog that was stolen in Tremont.
Jonathon Rosario said it broke his heart to leave his dog Selena at home all day, so he brought her with him to work at Braulio Barber Shop. He tied her to a tree outside and was looking forward to playing with her on his break.
Rosario continually checked on Selena throughout the day, which is why he said he was shocked when he went outside and she wasn't there.
In surveillance video, a man is seen walking passed the dog before turning back around. He then unties the dog's leash from the tree and walks away with her. The incident occurred on Sunday, July 28 at around 1 p.m.
Rosario is desperate for Selena's return. He is offering free haircuts for a month to the person who returns her.
"I miss her with all my heart and I love her and I wish I could have her back," said Rosario.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
