The iconic Chevy Corvette is now part of a collection being restored in Hicksville.
The collection of 36 corvettes was rescued by the group “Corvette Heroes” from a Manhattan garage where they were sitting for nearly 25 years.
The so-called “Peter Max Collection” includes one Corvette from every year between 1953 and 1989.
The group says it plans to give the cars away in a national sweepstakes to benefit the National Guard Education Foundation.
