Police seek suspect in forcible touching incidents involving young girls
Police say they are looking for a suspect who has been preying on young girls in several northeast Bronx neighborhoods.
Authorities say he is responsible for at least 11 forcible touching incidents involving females between the ages of 12 and 21.
They say the first assault happened back in February on Eastchester Road. The suspect allegedly touched a 14-year-old who was walking to the train station.
Police say two sexual assaults took place in July at the New England Expressway and Baychester Avenue Bridge. A 14-year-old and an 18-year-old were reportedly groped.
Community fliers have been posted on the walkway, warning residents to be on the lookout for this suspect. Community Board 10 says extra police have been stationed near the walkway to protect people who use it every day.
Police say the suspect is about 20 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans and black sneakers.
