Authorities say 23-year-old Cheyenne McBride was found safe in Poughkeepsie Wednesday following a tip from someone who recognized her picture online.
The Port Jervis woman was reported missing since May.
The search, however, continues for two other women who’ve been missing from the same community for weeks.
Brittany Hendershot and Heather Callas have been missing since late July and early August.
Authorities have not said the disappearances are suspicious or connected, but Hendershot's family believes the 22-year-old new mother is being trafficked against her will.
“We’ve been out almost every day around the clock for both of them right now,” said Domingo Ramos, with Hope Alive 845.
Ramos is a former private investigator who donates his time helping families and police look for missing people in the Hudson Valley.
He got a tip Tuesday safely locating McBride and alerted police.
His group is also searching for Hendershot and Callas.
“It’s important we find them.”
Hendershot's family says people reported seeing her in the city of Newburgh several times but that it turned out to be someone who looks like her.
Ramos says 27-year-old Callas was possibly spotted a few days ago by the Burger King in Port Jervis.
“She didn’t look too good and she was asking for money. The driver gave her some money and then she walked away and that was the last she saw her,” said Ramos.
He’s asking people to take a close look at the women’s pictures and call for help if think you see them.
Port Jervis police ask anyone with information about the missing women’s whereabouts to call them at 845-856-5101.
