Crews battle Wakefield building fire

A fire early Saturday morning in Wakefield left no one injured, according to the FDNY.


The fire broke out right before 1 a.m. on the first floor of 4130 Carpenter Ave., a six-story building.


Officials say 60 fire and EMS personnel responded. The fire was contained around 40 minutes later.


The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
