A 14-year-old girl was stabbed in Baychester, police say.
Officers responded to Tiemann and Hammersley avenues, a block away from Haffen Park, just after 6 p.m. Tuesday.
The girl was stabbed in the head and torso, according to authorities.
EMS took her to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi, where she is expected to recover.
Police are searching for a man wearing all black who ran from the scene.
