A 16-year-old boy was shot early in the morning in Soundview.
Police say that the incident happened just after 2 a.m. outside of a building on Stratford Avenue. The boy was shot in the chest and left arm. EMS took the victim to NYC Health+Hospitals/Jacobi and is expected to recover.
There have been no arrests, and the investigation is ongoing.
