Two people, including one firefighter, were injured during an early morning house fire in Longwood.

The FDNY says that the call came in just before 2 a.m. for a fire on the second floor of a home on Macy Place between Prospect Avenue and Hewitt Place. The fire was placed under control just after 2:30 a.m.

The injured person and the firefighter were both taken to the hospital by EMS for minor injuries. Fire marshals are investigating the incident.
