State Comptroller Sean Scanlon issued the state's first-ever loss report.

It details all state property that went missing or was destroyed over the last fiscal year.

The report finds that property that originally cost the state $4.9 million was either lost or stolen.

The report found most of the losses were accidental damages, but the state did lose nearly $120,000 to fraud and nearly $160,000 to malicious acts.
