Police said a man was slashed with an unknown object on Saturday night in Throgs Neck.

It happened just before 8 p.m. near the soccer fields at Ferry Point Park. News 12 was told it appeared to be a domestic dispute.

Citizen app video showed a heavy presence from first responders including the NYPD, FDNY, EMS and Parks Department.

The video also showed a woman sitting on the back of an ambulance and holding her head.

The incident happened across the street from the Bronx County Fair. Organizers said it was the carnival’s opening night, and they took precautions.

“It didn’t have anything to do with the fair,” said Raymond Calleja, manager of the Bronx County Fair. “It happened on the soccer field. We had three cops here on post and they ran out for the scene. I closed my gate [to the carnival] at least for 45 minutes until I found out everything was OK, and then I reopened.”

Calleja said since the incident did not involve the fair, they do not have plans to increase security.

Police said 36-year-old Charlhyn Guity was arrested.
