A 15-year-old boy was struck by a stray bullet Wednesday morning in the Pelham Gardens section of The Bronx, according to police sources.

Authorities say the bullet hit his leg as he was walking out of a store with his mother around 2:30 a.m. on Williamsbridge Road.

Police tell News 12 that the teen walked into NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and is in stable condition.

This incident comes after a 16-year-old girl was fatally shot in a Morrisania schoolyard Monday.
