A video posted on the Citizen app shows a pile of trash on a sidewalk catching fire and spreading to a nearby car and tree.

According to the FDNY, the call for a trash fire came in just after 1 a.m. at 1674 Macombs Rd.

The incident was brought under control in less than an hour.
