The FDNY says a fire broke out in a Parkchester apartment building.

Firefighters responded to 1940 East Tremont Ave. just after 8 p.m. Thursday.

Fire officials say crews battled flames on the seventh floor of the eight-story building.

Four people were treated for minor injuries.

The fire was under control in just over 20 minutes.
