A fire started at 1517 Morris Ave. late Monday night.
Video from the scene showed the thick dark black smoke billowing into the streets around 9:30 p.m.
A massive response was on scene with police and firefighters working to battle the flames and get residents in the neighboring homes to safety.
The FDNY says there were over 100 firefighters and EMS workers on scene at the time of the fire. No one was injured.
Fire marshals are investigating the cause.
